World of Goo 2
Cute, fun - mostly “challenging”, occasionally “frustrating” (specifically a couple of levels where you need to build tall wobbly structures and it’s more about “can you build a tall structure quickly, before it has time to fall over” than “can you build a solid structure” – but the input mechanism isn’t precise enough for split-second reaction-based building, so those levels had a lot of “reload from checkpoint and attempt the same thing again, hoping to get lucky with the timing”)
I’m impressed with how much variety there is, with each world having its own unique twist on the mechanics – all explored nicely, without staying long enough to become boring.
The plot is very “2DBoy” – very unique, but similar vibes to their other games.
This game sparks joy.
