It’s beautiful, I enjoy just walking around and admiring the scenery, I’d love to go on holiday here. I pick random unexplored spots on the map and go explore them, and keep finding random cool things <3

There are fun little mini-games all over the place

Queen’s Blood is a pretty neat card game, good enough to stand as a game on its own

Even the fetch-quests are neat, like picking flowers – compare to eg FF16, which had a flower-picking sidequest of “go to location, press X, return”, FF7R gives you a child’s doodle of a flower crown and asks you to pick flowers that feel appropriate for their design <3

There’s an escort mission, but it’s not annoying, and the party has plenty of banter along the route <3

There are cute dates <3

Music

It’s so pretty~ The plot music is epic, the exploration music is chill, the town music is cheerful; each city even has musicians performing unique pieces in bars and in the streets. I’m really amazed at just how much of it there is
